Or Technologies Limited — trading as OR Tech — was founded in 2019 by a group of engineers who had spent their careers inside payment companies — and had grown tired of watching good products fail on bad payment infrastructure.

Hong Kong was a deliberate choice. Few cities put a dense financial sector, a mature engineering talent pool, a genuinely international outlook and a bridge into both mainland China and Southeast Asia within the same few square kilometres. Our timezone covers the entire Asian business day and overlaps Europe in the morning and the US West Coast in the evening.

Today we’re a team of over 40 engineers, designers and QA specialists. We work with payment providers, marketplaces, digital asset businesses and financial institutions across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

We stay deliberately narrow. We don’t build content management systems or marketing sites. We build the systems that move money and the applications people trust to hold it.
