1. Who we are

Or Technologies Limited (“OR Tech”, “we”, “us”) is a software development company registered in Hong Kong under Business Registration Number 71200124, with its registered office at Unit 1201, 12/F, Tung Wai Commercial Building, 109–111 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through Home – OR Tech . We are the data user responsible for that data.

This policy does not cover personal data we process on behalf of clients while delivering software services. In those cases the client is the data user and their own privacy notice applies.

Information you give us — your name, work email address, company name and the content of your message when you contact us or apply for a role, together with anything you include in a CV or attachment.

Information collected automatically — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the site you arrived from. Analytics information is only collected where you have accepted analytics cookies.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

We do not use your personal data for direct marketing without your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time, free of charge, by writing to us.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law or by a lawful request from an authority.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

Some of our service providers operate outside Hong Kong. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take steps to ensure it remains adequately protected.

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and then delete or anonymise it — unless we are required to keep it longer by law.

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access to those who need it, and require our service providers to maintain appropriate security. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), you have the right to:

• Ask whether we hold personal data about you, and to receive a copy of it

• Ask us to correct any personal data that is inaccurate

• Withdraw your consent to direct marketing at any time

Write to support@ortech.it.com. We will respond within 40 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and may charge a reasonable fee for providing a copy of your data, as the Ordinance permits.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong (PCPD ).

If you are in a region with equivalent data protection law, you may have additional rights, including the right to request erasure of your data or to object to our use of it. Contact us and we will consider your request.
